Is a Food Handler Card required in Arizona?

Yes. A Food Handlers training is mandatory for food handlers in Coconino, Gila, Pinal, Yavapai, La Paz, Greenlee, Mohave, Yuma, and Maricopa counties. You must obtain your food handler card within 30 days of employment

As per HB 2436, Arizona law stipulates that food handlers must acquire training and certification from an ANAB-accredited provider as required by the county.

This food handler card is valid for 3 years.

However, Arizona Food Handler IDs must be renewed as stipulated by each county. The renewal duration varies from one county to another, so please verify with your local authority for renewal prerequisites. Typically, Food Handler IDs remain valid for 2 to 3 years.

How can I renew an Arizona Food Handler Card that has already expired?

If your Food Handler Card has expired, you will need to retake the training and exam to obtain a new food handler ID.

I possess a Food Handler Card issued by a specific county. If I start employment at an establishment situated in another county, will it be considered valid?
Yes, it will. As long as your Food Handler Card is issued by an ANAB-accredited provider and remains valid, it will be accepted by any other local health department, including Maricopa County, Mohave County, Coconino County, Pima County, Yuma County, Pinal County, and Yuma County.

This is a general 1 hour workplace harassment course designed for employees.  This course provides laws and requirements for federal compliance according to the EEOC (Equal Employment Opportunity Commission).  Please refer to your state laws and requirements specifically for approved sexual harassment training courses for workplace employees and supervisors.

The LIQUORexam.com online training program is a self-paced learning module that can be administered at any time.
