How to Get Certified Alcohol Server/Seller Training in Nebraska (POSSE)
If you or your staff need to complete certified alcohol server/seller training in Nebraska, follow the steps below to ensure you are properly certified through the Nebraska Liquor Control Commission (NLCC) POSSE system.
If You Are Completing Training to Comply with a Commission Order:
Before any training is completed, business owners must email lcc.training@nebraska.gov with a list of all employees who serve or sell alcohol, as well as any in-state owners. Be sure to include your business name and liquor license number in the subject line.
The employee list must include:

First and last name
-
Date of birth
-
Valid email address
This information is required so the NLCC can create your employee roster in the POSSE portal. This step is mandatory for compliance with a commission order.
Step 1: Create a POSSE Customer Portal Account
All individuals seeking server/seller certification must first create an account in the Nebraska POSSE portal at here: Nebraska POSSE portal
You must have a valid email address to register.

Step 2: Complete a Certified Alcohol Training Course
Complete one of the approved alcohol server/seller training courses. Once finished, you’ll receive a downloadable certificate showing your first and last name and the expiration date (valid for three years in Nebraska). Be sure to save this certificate — you’ll need it for the next step.
Step 3: Apply for Server/Seller Certification in the POSSE Portal
After completing training, return to your POSSE customer portal and follow these steps:

To complete your certification, you must:

Upload your training certificate

Score 100% on the NLCC quiz (unlimited attempts)
