Washington State Alcohol Server Permits: Class 12 & Class 13

In Washington State, you must hold either a Class 12 Mixologist Permit (for those 21 and older) or a Class 13 Servers Permit (for those 18-20 years old) to legally serve alcohol in an on-premises establishment.

Class 12 Mixologist Permit (Age 21+) Allows you to draw alcohol from taps, mix drinks, manage the establishment, conduct alcohol tastings, and perform all duties permitted under a Class 13 permit.

Class 13 Servers Permit (Age 18-20) Allows you to take alcohol orders and serve drinks to customers at their tables.
